a ghost ...
haunting you
love, as hand-in-glove
the rarest kind ...
conjoined bodies and souls
spirit goals of a kindred cognition
a singular volition of wills
rills that trickled to one sea
now run red ...
dead, but for your compromise
(god, I'll miss your eyes)
romance askance, rhapsodic
not a modicum of WE
all on behalf of the golden calf
how the darling devils revel and laugh
at your conciliate folly ...
at the wasted weep of angels
and the silenced song of a nightingale
trembling, yet ...
like the pane it saw as sky
a feather remains
stains ... of love, lost
the thickest blood - the cost of needs
a heart's final thud ... now
whacking words like weaving weeds
one gaunt and ghastly ghost -
this hellish host ...
(me).
