Parents God Sees It
The night is young
But so is the time
For star crossed lovers
To create new mothers
With baby bumps
9 months shall wait
To escape the wombs embrace
Where Mother breast and primal love
Encompass baby's early fear's
And formal tears
In cotton blanket's
And lullaby's
Mother watches over child
Like every mother born to do
Oh little child if this is meant on which to place
Your wrinkled head lest you sleep in mothers arms
You shall never come to harm
On your Mum and Dad's head be it
That is the way god sees it
