Over These Hills
I fell for you last summer
in a purely shallow way
without even knowing
why I wanted you
all I know is since than
I've never been the same
A year has passed
and now I'm no longer clueless
I got over your looks
and I went in search of the truth
and it amazed me
Now every time I see you
I get double duty pain
how can someone be so right
but be as far away as hills in the plains
I want to tell you just be still
so I can finally climb up to the top
and feel something real for once
I fear I'll never conquer you
because everyone thinks your beautiful
but I can see right into you
and that is something people rarely do
