Or In the Likeness and Image of God We Are Made Of

As life dust, the particles sing The spiritual light in sentience traversed We In those templates and essences As they came upon each other Discovering one another of eternal And through all the myriads of touch Kissed within the creations Goddess and Gods Recognized each other And named it love Terpsichore was hailed to weave herself Through the atoms of soul Those motes we knew and did not know But still she fell into your eyes And every word unspoken sits on the quivering of lips And every nuance transforms its translation Echoes to the summit my fingertips Some say it is destiny Light you were and love you are Flame of me Flame of yourself For each breath of me Was you When bathed in glory Wrote the hymn of us So triumphantly sung And knew the passions Of human Love In equilibrium Between spirit, skin the divine pendulum There in the heart of the fire And the pulse pounding vein of blood We did not deny how we were made Or who we are Or in the likeness and image of God We are made of " And if I should wake, with such a despicable taste upon my tongue and wide eyed bare witness to all the cruelty that has been done; if I should see love, so fettered and love brought so low to a trammeled struggle be; forgive me; please; for the despising in my heart, for all those who made it so.
