Life, at the low end of the totem-pole of life seems to require constant comment.

“The open ear of youth doth always listen” - Shakespeare I want to listen, when adults give me advice but it's not easy. The wind-up, the slow methodical narrative to the point drives me insane. I know you’re trying to build a bridge - not a wall - so spit it out - I’m right here, behind these blue eyes. Whatever hurtful idea you’ve latched onto - let me hear it - STAT. Maybe you’ll find your message returned - unopened - but you’re like earth - I’m stuck in your gravity - so for the love of whatever deity you worship - spill it. Upgrade my life with your insight and I'll be forever changed and improved.

A problem as old as life itself Anais, Which is this: At about the age of 13 teenagers know everything there is to know believing that anyone aged 30+ is an old fogey whose opinions are worthless, this is true of every generation, those of my age (78) are regarded as prehistoric. You are very smart and express yourself very well. By you get to my age you'll be having this very same conversation with other youngsters, only then it will be you who's the old fogey. That's life. My best wishes - Bill

Good. I aspire to old fogery and some of my favorite relatives are old fogeys - see, THEY seem to get right to the point and say it plain - I LOVE that. Thanks for the comment!
