One Way To Succeed In Life

With few exceptions, There is only one way to succeed in life, Which is, to go through the right hoops, At the right time, At the right speed for each hoop. Of course, you could pay someone else to go through them for you, But to have the money required, You would have needed to go through the right hoops, At the right time, At the right speed for each hoop. Unless of course you inherited the money, Or won lotto, Or married into a rich family, But for any of these things to happen, You still might have needed to go through the right hoop, At the right time, At the right speed for each hoop, Hence the fact that there are few exceptions. Even those who are rich and famous, Will tell you, that to remain rich and famous, One needs to go through the right hoops, At the right time, At the right speed for each hoop. Even if you do come up with the money, You might find that the person you ask to go through the hoops for you, Has gone through the right hoops, At the right time, At the right speed for each hoop, And has no interest in going through the same hoops twice, Or you may end up with one of the growing number of people, Who think there is no need to go through any hoops at all, Except the one that leads to you parting with your money. And if that happens your only chance of success, Will be to go back and start at the beginning of this poem, And then pray to the one who knows even more about hoops than I do.
