One

The dawn is slowly brightening, blessed by the breath of heaven, leaves are fluttering, clouds majestic, shaped like cherubs, shifting high and clear, close to perfection. The night is soft and silent, broken only by the owl's lament and we are sleeping, nestled in our dreams' fair keeping, carefully protected. They are drifting feather-light, embellishing the magic of the night and we are the center of it all. My love for you is endless, the grandeur of the trees, the ever-present breeze. All my trials as transient as smoke that drifts into the air and disappears. We two, beginnings with the same conclusion, the calm, the storm, the dark, the dawn, you are me and I am you, and we are One.
