Oblivion
If I sleep,
and never wake up again,
don't cry for me,
just bury me to dust,
don't hold me close,
just forget me if you must.
If I sleep,
and wake up in the land,
I've never been to,
just don't waste time,
calling my name,
I'll be long gone,
before you noticing,
the depth of your candle flame.
If I sleep,
and you don't find me here,
the next morning,
don't look for me,
as I was never there,
just a memory, just a thought,
is how I swayed.
So I sleep again,
in hope that I never wake up,
please don't cry ,
because that would be unjust,
remember me if you may,
forget me , you must.
