O Floweret
O Floweret! How soft and sweet,
Your petals when they lock and meet.
How kind! Appear at daylight’s break,
When in the breeze your blossoms shake.
Elegance in each bud spread,
In morning when the skies are red.
Power, lust, will, deceit,
Build me up my Flower-seat!
When daylight casts her beaming glance,
And holds my flower in its trance;
And moonlight bid its time was close,
Guarding over the faltered rose.
A traveler between night and day
