November Rain

with your touch as gentle as summer snow and your verses a snowflake in the chill of spring- I shall fill my mind with memories of us; wrapped up in warmth, like the autumn sun. november rain has come again- and I cannot forget you... I think this poem should have been placed because of the beautiful metaphors and gentle flow. I feel metaphors add a dramatic soft effect. Also, it means a lot to me. When I first met my hubby I longed for him to just see me in a way I always wanted to see myself. His touch was soft, his voice enchanting- they still are by the way. There's layers to this poem, which is intriguing. I just could not forget him, and I still can't. (Even with the balding hair...hehe) The most beautiful man I ever met. :):):) January 9th, 2018 (This poem placed in 1 contest last year, but have received 4 NA's since. I hope that still counts. It is one of the poems I thought would definitely place, and didn't)
