Notes From the Lower East Side
Heschel , of course
when we need to feel challenged
of course - Man is not Alone
Urban dwellers feel
the need for trees and grass
so we take a
walk in the park
or read about the Shire
Times Square
is damn exciting
but one needs a
break from the
crowds
and bars at times Be you Christian , Jew, Moslem
or any other creed
One needs the natural world
Let's hope we don't
aid in the "futile contest"
which it is not so certain
we will win
