Not Just Any Haven, Margarita

Seeking a place of refuge, from the boiling deep-sea and rolling thunderous skies, while the ship heaves to and fro like a weathered leaf. Thoughts of whether, we will live or not, do cross my mind, as the rain presses against my face, in the engulfing black night. The shining city of lights appears on the hill, like a cluster of flowers, in a peaceful meadow. Advancing past the firmament of poured earth, that blocks the high seas. We enter the harbor and in the calm, a pearl of great price, when suddenly at Godspeed the words of life, now so real and understood, standing within this port.
harbingers destiny
God said it was so, weather
covert from the storm
