I have known anger, and I have felt pain, and every time, I've sworn never again. And there are times I've hated myself too, for doing the things, I knew I shouldn't do. I have watched hope bring tears to people's eyes, and I've seen tears as hope dwindles and dies. Sometimes, living itself warps perceptions, and I respond based on misconceptions. I've seen fear hidden behind smiling masks; folks feel they're being led, but no one asks. I've indulged in the luxury of hugs, though they can be as addictive as drugs. I have seen truths overshadowed by lies, fueled by conspiracies in disguise. And I've seen people focus on what's right, when darkness descends to douse reason's light.

We NEED to see each others smiles. When I was behind the mask I would TELL people I am smiling at you. :) no mask here, sweet friend Emile!
