New Spring

Fresh and breezy air Spring wallows in the trees Flowers growing where they care Newness everywhere exceeds All around are growing sprees All snow has disappeared The temperature has warmed The leaves have reappeared With the wind slightly calmed And no animal has been harmed Birds sing way up high Dandelions blooming brightly The beauty that stuns my eye Sounds fill the air beautifully Seeing what is brought happily

Sounds like a good triple English Quintain description of spring. I can't wait for it; I'm sick of the winter.

Poem is filled with so much life and nature everywhere, the birds singing way up high, I love to hear birds sing. Well-written poem, I enjoyed it.

I think your words give meaning to whaqt all of us northerners are feeling these days Rusty. LOved that line "spring wallows in the trees" - what a soft lazy way to greet the season. So special and I wish you all the best in the contest! :)
