New Experience
I am having a new experience
Surrounded by people whom I love
In another state
Away from my computer
Without canvases or paints
There are no pets here
But there is an in-ground swimming pool with a slide
And six grandchildren whom I had not seen for over a year
There might not be any poems written in the next four days
No worries. I am being spoiled.
My seventeen-year-old granddaughter just brought us all two warm cookies.
