When someone you love passes on and it's their time to part They'll always live on through your heart Although they could no longer survive Through beautiful memories you keep them alive Through each and every life they ever did touch Through special moments and bonds you cling to and clutch Passing stories on to generations to be told Priceless memories that can never be sold Time with loved ones always seems to brief Even though you can't see or touch them they're still with you through all of your heartache and grief If you pay close attention they'll send signs from Heaven letting you know they're still there Maybe a reminder as simple as a warm gentle breeze blowing through your hair Perhaps as the warmth of the bright burning sun touches your face You take a walk down memory lane with thoughts of them you embrace Broken hearted as you're driving along At random you smile as you hear their favorite song Taking comfort and eating their favorite food or a special recipe they'd prepare Remembering they'd pour into everything the most tender loving care A piece of them is with you always, a loved one is never really truly gone Through all of their loved ones they'll always carry on They'd want you to keep living for we're all well worth the wait It'll be the most beautiful of reunions as they stand gracefully with open arms at those Pearly Gates As your hearts filled with sorrow, never forgotten it's never good-bye Like your beautiful Heaven bound guardian angel continue to spread your wings and fly
