Nature's Gifts
Lavender wildflower bloom everywhere
I stop in a reverie and I just stare
Mother Nature has brought this gift here
It brings a blanket of safety from fear
Limited time to enjoy it before the snow
As it spreads on the hills and my yard it grows
I can see if far from where it is that I stand
Simple beauty decorates the open land
I think of all the gifts granted us each day
As I cherish them all, moving on my way
