Nature's Gift
The Earth was having a party,
A super magnificent fling,
And Nature was invited
But wondered what to bring.
She scratched her head and pondered
But no ideas would cling.
Arriving empty-handed
Wouldn’t be the nicest thing.
Then suddenly she realized,
As she heard some songbirds sing,
That it was perfect timing,
For the gift she’d bring was Spring!
