Some say our love has been blind, but love Endureth many things. Our struggles all came with gifts, gifts that were at times hard to see, they made us stronger you and me; And yet, we are still you and me. Now reaching a milestone in our lives, together we are working as a family; as parents still teaching our children, as children caring for our parents. Wondering about what will be next, it does not matter because I love you. Our love has been transforming, and as long as we are hand and hand, I am happy to be together forever. Happy Valentine’s Day Baby! Edward J. Ebbs - 02/11/2015

Hi Edward, Love always goes deeper than the feeling. Your excellent, simple words say there is more to Love than just the romance, yet in all we do the Love can shine through. Yet through all, romance is always there. An excellent write Ed. A definite seven from me. I enjoyed the read....Vladislav.

Thank you for your words...the black and white photo had no meaning other than my nose was red due to a boil. LOL, funny in away, because I also was wearing a ridiculas hawaiian shirt--being silly. Love is deeper than just a feeling...when were are working together in the garden, I look over at Paula, she looks up and smiles, it makes my heart sings. Even taking care of our Alzheimer’s parent, when our eyes meet, we just know...

Thanks SKAT, the poem was written obvious for Valentines Day..Not a romantic poem in a tradtional sense, but love does not have to be romantic, and sometimes it's about the dynamics of family. My wife's mother has Alzheimer's disease and dad has dementia...the kids still need guidance, and within all that, there is love. Thank you for your contest. Smiles for you and thanks for being the first to comment :)
