My Six Steps
My Six Steps

Believing is always step one to my becoming,
Step two is having faith in it forthcoming.
Step three is the character I demonstrate in coping,
and is directly linked to actions, not idly hoping.
Step four I can’t afford to hesitate, for it’s repressing,
and the price of hesitation is often a future blessing.
Step five is quiet deeds that come to light that impress some so,
those not overly impressed with what I say I know.
Step six is not giving because its excess that I share.
Sacrifice is something I do because I care,
