My Savior Prays For Me
When I was lost and distressed
To the point of Life and Death,
Anguish had me so hard pressed
Plagued by sorrow and regret.
Alone was never so profound
As when I groped for love,
But in His Mercy I was found,
Pure Grace from God above.
My silent cry flowed in tears-
All heaven heard each drop,
Then Jesus came, He took my fears,
The cloud of Darkness had to stop.
Set free, unchained, bought with a Price!
His Wisdom showed the way,
His Word, alive, opened my eyes,
His Spirit guides my days.
And so I rest assured of this:
I am God's child eternally,
Filled with His joy and boundless peace-
His Son, my Savior prays for me!
