My Regal One

My unquestionable Queen, form so fine, For whom I've been holding, held high, held low, Attempting to reach you, my finest line. You're Beauty in Truth the aim of my bow, Yet, still I will dare, my Love, to announce, Pledge the workings of my Will to you, known. Your features exquisite, I must announce, Make my language a kiss for you, alone. You're my creature, woman Heaven sent, With your moistened lips, your most shapely hips, I await your appearance, end my lent, I yearn to meet, to taste your finger tips, Not least to say the least, but most to most, For you, my regal one, I'll play the host.

Ah, the commoner courts sublime royalty. Frank Stockton ('The Lady or the Tiger') would love it. And Why not?! I sure enjoyed it! Thanks, Ryan. ~ Gershon

Ummm, seems we have a Sonnet maestro on our hands here, so strange, that you should appear as Teppo Gren, our once greatest Sonneteer sadly disappears from poetry soup, strange indeed, my friend . . .

I don't know this Teppo Gren, but I am intrigued by such a comparison. My former work was removed a year and a bit ago, though...By the by, have you ever lain against the fall of night as I once did?
