My Puppy Love Romance Forevermore
Sixteen years old when we first locked a passionate glance,
and all I could see in your eyes was puppy love romance.
Twenty-two years seems like such a very long time ago,
and since that day in high school I haven’t let you go.
My puppy love turned into my perpetual forevermore,
for you will always be that handsome man that I adore.
I'm so in love with you and you are still so eternally kind,
a fiery Aries and a tamed Capricorn have finally aligned.
We still keep a journal of love poems and daily entries,
for we still have that amour that brings us to our knees.
You always say that it was my eyes that made you weak,
and I always said it was those funny words you did speak.
You still embrace me softly when we are together in our bed,
you touch my longing nape and I gently rub your soft head.
No other man will ever bring me so much thirsty pleasure,
I love you to heaven and back beyond time or measure.
A twelve-year old daughter who still looks like her daddy,
our sweet Ella Rose who is an undying part of you and me.
Yes, you are still the one that I shall be loyal to all my life,
thank God I met you so young…I’m so grateful to be your wife.
