My Porch, An Empty Canvas

Last night was the last call for all the lonely hearts; now is when the healing starts. Don’t leave tears at my porch, nothing of pain lights my torch. I tried to save you; you neglected, I wished we were more connected. I created a life where I’m not jaded, free from a mind too complicated. Peace of heart for a much better fate- (like I said, a great life I did create) Out on my porch, I found not tears, but a empty canvas devoid of fears. Now I shall walk the path of virtue, and things of beauty I shall pursue. I do love myself with all my might- once again…the last call for lonely hearts was last night. ********************************************* ********************************************* DATE - October 31, 2019 CONTEST - LAST CALL FOR LONELY HEARTS Poetry Contest

Beautiful as usual. I love it. You always think of things in a way that I would never have imagined. Love to you, Gina
