My Poem On Wall
My Poem On Wall
Great poem in picture frame did post,
On wall where he will love it the most;
Likes to read,
When in need;
About this poem does brag and boast.
Was written after receiving an email
from Solomon Ochwo from Kenya
saying he liked my poem.
Turn In the Hurricane
When there has been a turn in the hurricane,
While on us approaches and will start to gain;
Wind up picking;
Clock is ticking;
Appears to be following along in one lane.
Hurricanes cause many worries and fears;
Which is why we like Corps of Engineers;
Hope not late,
If we evacuate,
While worries and hardships did disappear.
Once a hurricane has seemed so severe;
We will really be afraid of it being here;
Wind had been blowing;
Growing and growing;
In another direction wish it would steer.
