My Ode
Cheer wears a face
With joy in place,
Poise in sure style
Now fashions smiles.
Charm knows my name
In praise or blame,
Love keeps me clear
Right now and here.
Keep faith dear heart
For hope brings art,
And in due time
All senses rhyme.
Just for today
Let faith fill play,
Wear wit with jest
And do your best.
My ode looks plain
As soul sparks gain,
I look to me
To simply see.
Words on a page
Can set fond stage,
Ideas now come
As passion sums.
One by one move
Each timely groove,
To each a chance
To sing and dance.
Learn to know how:
Be at peace now,
Love's never late
So seize your fate.
Dare to live well
Love tale you tell,
Blessings set free
To simply be.
