My Magical Here and Now
I am living the dream today and tomorrow,
but, it has taken years to find my here and now;
I have had to crawl out of dark cold pits,
wander mazes of sorrow to find my true north.
Oh, there are still lots of days not quite perfect,
but, my past has made me strong in surrender;
has given me a deep inner strength to accept,
and I have found a serenity few can imagine.
Now, I gaze at the world with utter tranquility,
I have found the magical whimsical beauty of life;
the sweetness in each new dawn and each sunset,
the joy of new challenges unfolding into the unknown.
