My Life's Song

The lights are fading, as the shoreline disappears, where another horizon, awaits my tears. How can one know, or do I dare, wonder, does he even care. Hearts stale with remorse, broken, from rejection, and pain, without hesitation, I'm between here, and insane. Salt in my eyes, the taste on my lips, remembering, many a trip. Still that desire, an ember so dim, faintly creeps, a sillouette of him. Darkness has fallen, my mind rambles on, somewhere, I will find my life song.

This was by far the most inspired I have been all day. I have had a rough couple of days, and it's very comforting not to be alone. So, you aren't either. This was written with honesty and class, and the flow was perfect for the theme. If you want to, I wrote a poem when I was right where you are titled "Fragilë." It is down the list a little way, but I have felt everything you are. Peace, Ivy

Simply love the last line. This is sad but so beautifully written. Thanks for your comment on No Mans Land. Guests have a choice of beautifull views of the lake of tears or they can simply cry their own river, lol. Take care. Love Heidie

Oh Christy, let me help you find that dimmer switch and brighten things up. You are such a wonderful person with a bright glowing talent that we all admire. I sit here and I ponder just what took me so long, now if you let me I will sing you a song.

Wanted to thank you for the kind and generous comments. Love, perhaps the harshest mistress of all...it would appear that we are both to her indentured. A glorious sadness. Michael
