My Life's a Battlefield
Now our love is over life is a battlefield
Guns are blazing out a trail of obscenities
Right through my heart your bullets fly
You don't notice if I cry or tears in my eye
Life's a battlefield shouting and hurting but why
Love was ours for the taking but now it's all gone
You fire your bullets at me then I return fire
Building me a fortress now out of razor wire
My life's now a battlefield
Guns and arrows blaze a trail
Leading on to a love fail
My life's now a battlefield
Moving on we're still living in a battlefield
When we meet our voices fire out obscenities
Bullets ricocheting bring me to self destruct
Hearts in pieces now love's gone it won't reconstruct
Life's a battlefield all we ever do is fight
Can't go on like this much more it's killing my soul
One of us must bite the bullet soon and just go
This is the end for love and everything we know
Fire those arrows at me straight and true
Keep on firing now loves gone we're through
Shoot me straight between my eyes, go on
This battlefield is fatal to me now, I'm gone
My life's now a battlefield
Guns and arrows blaze a trail
Leading on to a love fail
My life's now a battlefield
