My Heart Is Full
Today my heart is full,
and I can't complain.
What resides is beautiful,
I thank my lucky stars.
Years ago I didn't belong,
and I wanted to die.
Death was my heart's song,
until I found a reason to live.
Pain had me so confused,
that I contemplated death.
However healing infused,
itself in my fragile heart.
Now all I see are rainbows,
in the midst of a storm.
Even when the wind blows,
I know the sun is coming.
