My God, Thank You For Setting the Promised Land Before Me

February 6 Scripture Meditations Based on Deuteronomy 1-5 Key Verse – Deuteronomy 1:21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR SETTING THE PROMISED LAND BEFORE ME Thank You for setting the promised land before me ---against attacking sinfulness With Your glowing holiness To enable me to dwell in Your righteousness Which takes my feet to the mount of sanctification-cleanliness. Thank You for setting the promised land before me ---against lurking deception With Your guarding truth’s fortification To establish me to grow in Your standards’ function Which settles my mind at the plain of Bible-declaration. Thank You for setting the promised land before me ---against dismaying fear With Your girding courage-gear To uphold me to reside in Your kindness-cheer Which carries my trust to the hill of steadfast faith-steer. Thank You for setting the promised land before me ---against smiting carnality With Your governing authority To lead me to follow toward spirituality Which ushers my stewardship to the vale of service-opportunity. Thank You for setting the promised land before me ---against towering pride-posture With Your gripping meekness-feature To teach me to humble down in prayerful gesture Which drives my heart from the wilderness of disobedience-venture. Thank You for setting the promised land before me ---against distressing misery With Your guiding victory of heavenly glory To exhort me to continue in sharing the Gospel story Which blesses my life in Your kingdom’s territory.
