My Awakening

“It began as but a whisper, a breeze so gentle I knew it not by definition , unknown even by the most tender leaf yet of such purity, of such brilliance, calling notice not to itself but rather bearing full color in truth of change, the very hint enough to sway the convictions of a lifetime in single breath, yea single heartbeat. Born in that instant was not hope, no far from it for hope had no possibility of life within me, yet birthed was first light of possibility. Possibility that the seeds of hope may exist though lost in the long forgotten depths of my broken soul. First light though it distant and dim shattered the darkness Thus was my awakening so altering, so transforming I live it still for was at that moment I drew first new breath and quivered at the possibility.
