Mother Slam Love
I'd like to get to know you well
Before we both descend into hell
So I can tell
The wood from the tree's
And why we did what we did
Knowing we burnt our candles
On the wrong end of reason
For no other reason
Than to break each other
So no 1 else
Would want us
Star crossed lovers
Both our mothers
Warned us
Nothing good could ever come
From falling in love
But we did not listen
Instead we fell into Bed
And blew ahead
Into troubled waters
Our sons and daughters
Bath on broken glass
From 76 to 22
Separate house's
Of weekend answers
The bitching lance's
Backwards and Forth
The love war trenches
Shouting over child fences
Mother was right
It was not worth the fight
