Mother Pearl

You lie beautiful treasure on the bottom of the seabed mother of the ocean Whispering motions sail away in shades of a rainbow spray colours you beautiful kissed by the sea upon the sands nurtured waves goodbye your remains Upon the sand dead beauty pleasing on the naked eye still so beautiful a treasure one can see beholding

I love the story of a mother creating something so beautiful and then letting it go to fly on it's own. Very, very beautiful!...By the way, I had my Mom read this poem! And, she thought it was a very touching story, as well!....Thank you for suggesting this one. And, thanks for all of the sweet comments on my work. I deeply appreciate all of them!

I am also on another site called Poetry Nation. But, not a lot was happening there, lately. I discovered Poetry Soup, and I joined about a month ago.
