Most of All, In Love
I am the man you cannot know,
I'd like to get acquainted, though.
I am the man who dreams the dreams
And believes they will come true,
I am the man who dreams of love,
And who maybe dreams of you.
I am a man who still must grow,
And in many ways, a child,
And not like other men you know--
But funny, fierce--and mild.
And I believe in fairy tales
And in candlelight for two--
In waterfalls, and moonlight strolls
And in roses laced with dew.
I am the man who likes to dance,
But when the musics slow--
Swaying to the rhythm sweet,
The lights made soft, and low.
And some say I'm a poet--
A romantic if you will,
Who turns a phrase in playful ways,
And likely always will.
And I believe in summer nights,
And in the stars above--
In rainy days, and Broadway plays...
But most of all, in love!
