More Than the Music

Now I know who you could be only after your departure Like the arrow that is felt long before we know the archer Now I see the gift you gave only after it was squandered now I know you meant to save Now the lessons can be pondered Open up your loving eyes just one moment, ere you sleep I must take back all my lies and my promises must keep Your forgiveness I implore from my broken hearted soul I can't hear you anymore the music ebbs, your hands are cold Play one final pollonaisse your legacy must never end through the years we count the days until you're home with us again.
