Moonbeams
The way you say hello makes my day
Smiles on a rough day, when my skies are gray
You really have tugged hard at my heartstrings
It's not the giving of riches, it's just the little things
The way your eyes light up when I speak
Being strong for me, when I am weak
Holding my hand, your soft gentle touch
Little by little, my girl, I love you so much
Taking walks, counting stars, being by my side
When I am near you, my love I can't hide
Holding me tight on a cool autumn night
It's the little things that make "us" so right
Breakfast at dawn, soft music, just me and you
Chats around the fire, slow kisses, long overdue
Wearing that pretty yellow sun dress just for me
You make me high, my heart's racing, can't you see
Oh darling walk out of my enchanted dreams
Into a life of honeysuckle and moonbeams
