Sculpt to enlighten the whole wide world She stands majestic from days of old Such gift, such colossal rare gift, she's bold, and See for us, visions; a symbol of friendship she upholds. Strong Liberty Island is her pedestal so dear She's moonshine for those who cruise and stare Some folks look and bow, most from near and far Sure her stance stirs pure joy, nothing of fear. So who would defend her from disrespect? Soldiers, Sailors, how could we forget? September! Nine Eleven! she remains the best; so you Souls in shackles, foes to detect, she is survivor of test. *
