Miriam and Rivka, both old-fashioned names. Like this a lot. Believe it or not, I have a Miriam at my school, and I am her assigned mentor. I never hear that name any more or Rebecca. It is wild how names immediately conjure up memories and other names. This sweet poem reminds us of the cycle of life that cannot be discounted - the similarities, traits, and habits mystically passed down through DNA.
