Mercy of the Cross
Mercy Of The Cross
Thoughts: of Miracle man
October 4, 2020
Looking beyond the obvious I see a picture of love,
The scene at the cross, to mankind, was chilling.
God’s justice required that sin’s penalty be paid,
Jesus’ life was that payment, He also was willing.
Justice punishes sin but mercy rescues sinners,
so, when I accepted this payment I became saved.
When the mercy of the cross was applied to my life,
forgotten was the life I’d once lived when depraved.
