Memories of Lost Love
Love hits the heart,
so hard,
when your so young
and so full of life.
Love so tender,
touching memories
we had for each
other.
Love we shared,
together in days
of our youth
in days gone by.
Love of dreams
we waited for
never coming
only fading away.
Love can be
very painful
as we say,
our final farewell.
Love holds many
memories, please
dear hold on to
our lost memories.
wrote 11-26-07 (About a girl that I broke up with in 1962, it really broke her heart. I was 19 and she was 15. later i was so sorry I did it.
