Me As An Only Child

I had a brother but an alien spaceship plucked him Up and carried him to another planet. His feet were kicking, and he was screaming. I marveled at how quickly he disappeared. My bossy sister was trying to get him back, but screech……….a red clown car came tearing around the corner and ran her down. So this makes me an Only child. I am gleefully eating all the sweets when both walk back into the kitchen, ruining my daydream.

And as you know, one distant day... there is a good chance these annoying kids will grow up to hopefully become your best friends and allies. A fun poem, Caren.

This is cute Caren. I laughed at the ending. Sounds like my kids when they were little.

I am surrounded daily by childlike minds, so I plan to be like Peter Pan and never grow up.
