Masquerade
Every love
A silent play
Of hidden innuendos
O' this masquerade...
For through the moonlit night
She fled in silent prayer
Her silken gown aflutter
Swirling in the air
She played the delicate lily
In a novel of love and defeat
And cast a King of lies
Down upon his knees
~
And now upon the ruby dawn
Where tears shall fall no more
A fair maiden Princess
Heals a heart torn
