Mars
Shining like a bright red gem
lighting up the night with a dreamy haze,
So inviting and so far away
yet it's like going home;
Leaving all the pain and death behind
for a new beginning,
begging humanity to get it right this time
A new place to start over;
Earth a distant past, Ready for the future
Mars shines like a bright red gem
glowing with hope for Peace.
