Make Your Days Memorable
Hours slowly tick away bringing in another night,
have we lived our day to the fullest showing cheerfulness,
or wasted it idling away: dreaming and waiting on luck?
Now, it can't return and make amends for that loss!
Make your days memorable, freeze them in time
as sculptures not smeared with dust or grime;
their images reflect their souls gone in eternity,
see those blank eyes that seek our sympathy!
If death scares us, defeat that thought with faith;
we can pray and make any fear vanish from thought,
some are hopeless, others go on and become stronger...
why surrender to despair and lay in a rocking chair?
Age can confine us to loneliness, it's a harsh punishment
imposed on ourselves...isn't it the conviction of the feeble
expecting to die alone without the presence of comfort?
Why forget what you lived? Your story can be so incredible!
