Mad World
People rushing everywhere
Trying to find familiar places
Neon lights flashing fear
On gaunt faces filled with despair
Happiness is bought and sold,
In the suburbs they sell it cheap
People haunted by their dreams
They need more drugs to fall asleep
People rushing everywhere
Trying to buy their happiness
In school, it would appear
That children are learning something new
They're learning to have affairs
And it's the teacher that's getting screwed
