Love's Odd Fate
LOVE’S ODD FATE
He sees her cheeks, warm red, with his brushed palm.
She hears his poetic love song, in tears.
Dark skies fill eyes. She’s blind to them, strong balm.
He fills her ears with cursive joy, long years.
She feels the wind he blows. His soul - her psalm.
He feels her shade his darkest thoughts and fears.
It is the light he craves - he finds in her.
So odd, she longs to hear, his voice concur.
