Lovely Complex
This situation between us has grown dire I fear
for this isn't love but a vanity affair
Each day is a tussle, we bicker and fight
about who was to do the dishes last night
"Hon, my million dollar hands weren't meant to get wet"
while you think your a kitten or some adorable pet
The dishes stay dirty, the bathroom now stinks
I'm tonning my muscles while you paint your nails pink
To maintain your beauty, you spend all day in bed
"Darling, which suits me better, the blue tie or red?"
The landlord keeps calling, the rent is over due
but my watch was last season, so I bought one thats new
"So what I'm addicted but not as bad as you,
this watch is half the price of your fifty thousand dollar shoe"
I'm back home from work and all that I get
is " Eww your gross and covered in sweat"
Now my dear is your time of the month
when ugliness creeps right up to the front
your aching with pain and reaching for me
you ask "how do I look, be truthful baby?"
I tell the ugly truth, that your a hideous sight
so hurry up and get pretty, so we can go clubing friday night
Your looking much better, we are now arm in arm
Your diggin my swagga, I'm loving your charm
I only want you when your pretty
you want the same thing I fear
we're shallow we know it, but don't really care
to us this is love, this vanity affair.
