** This photo was taken when my three kids and I were reunited last summer ... it had been 23 years since I last held all of my children at the same time, and as you can see, I had a death grip on them, lol ... you can barely see the head of my youngest under all those arms, the poor girl being squashed! Many tears were shed that day ... WONDERFUL tears of joy! **
My precious children, grown or small,
How blessed I am to have you all.
No barter, gold, or diamonds rare,
Can ever pluck you from my care.
No family's perfect, that's for sure,
But love like ours will yet endure.
Divergent forces wrenched us apart,
Still we stayed united in our hearts.
To laud you safe from hurts and harms,
I'll lock you, captive, in my arms ...
And naught but time will loose my hold,
For love's stead purchase can't be sold.
