Love Is Still

Before the willow's arms are bare Before the golden leaves are brown Before the meadow's green is gone Before the swinging sun is down Promise me your love is still Before the ocean's call is quiet Before the midnight rain has passed Before the ground beneath us cracks Before the reign of death is cast Promise me your love is still Before my bones are worn and weak Before my hair has fallen grey Before my scent's a dying rose Before I meet my dying day Promise me your love is still
